We are Chris and Veronique Bale. We started out as art collectors but we have transformed our collecting passion into a modest dealership. Typically we like to buy works of art that we can enjoy for 5 years or so, and then we may consider putting them to market. If we are successful in selling works, we use the funds to acquire new pieces thus satisfying our collecting passion.
Although we are based in the USA, our focus has long been on French modern art, hence the french spelling of our gallery name. But as always, out tastes can change and additionally we continue to learn. As such we will buy works of art that may not fit the french modern art genre, but which nonetheless, offer something special to us.
Our inventory is always in flux and depends very much on prevailing market conditions, circumstance and our ability to find works that we can enjoy. Currently we are hosting:
